Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is launching a Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) designed to empower fresh graduates with essential skills and hands-on training. The 8-month initiative combines career development with practical on-the-job experience to build a solid foundation for a progressive career.

Participants work alongside the Project Manager, Coordinator and Resident Engineer, gaining exposure to project meetings, documentation, monitoring progress and quality compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior working experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in fields related to business, engineering or administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating project meetings, including scheduling, preparing attendance lists, recording key decisions and preparing meeting minutes.
• Support the preparation, compilation and distribution of project documents and reports to internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with document control and record management, ensuring project documents are properly organised and maintained.
• Support the Project Team in monitoring project progress, tracking action items and highlighting potential issues or delays.
• Assist in quality monitoring and compliance activities to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Resident Engineer as required.

Job Requirements

• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn and work in a project environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
