Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad invites graduates to join its GeT Graduate Trainee Program under the PROTÉGÉ initiative, an eight-month development track combining training with hands-on project exposure to build a solid early career foundation.

• Coordinate project meetings: scheduling, attendance, minutes.

• Provide admin support to the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Resident Engineer as required.

Our comprehensive 8 months initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating project meetings, including scheduling, preparing attendance lists, recording key decisions and preparing meeting minutes.
• Support the preparation, compilation and distribution of project documents and reports to internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with document control and record management, ensuring project documents are properly organised and maintained.
• Support the Project Team in monitoring project progress, tracking action items and highlighting potential issues or delays.
• Assist in quality monitoring and compliance activities to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Resident Engineer as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Administrative Science, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or other relevant fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior working experience is required.
• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn and work in a project environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
