Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is launching its Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) under the PROTÉGÉ initiative. This 8-month program combines career development training with on-the-job experience to build a solid foundation for a progressive career in project environments.

Trainees will assist in coordinating project meetings, document preparation, and records management, while learning from the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Resident Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as business, admin, civil/structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior working experience is required.
• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn in a project environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating project meetings, including scheduling, attendance lists, recording key decisions and preparing meeting minutes.
• Support the preparation, compilation and distribution of project documents and reports to internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with document control and record management, ensuring project documents are properly organised and maintained.
• Support the Project Team in monitoring project progress, tracking action items and highlighting potential issues or delays.
• Assist in quality monitoring and compliance activities to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Resident Engineer as required.
