Job summary

SWM Seelong Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for facility equipment and infrastructure. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pumping, and utility systems.

The role monitors equipment condition, maintains schedules and asset registers, coordinates contractors, and ensures safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in facility, plant, building, or industrial maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage contractors and coordinate multiple maintenance activities.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
