Job summary

Crawford is hiring an Adjuster (Property / Engineering) in Ipoh, Perak. You will investigate loss events, assess damages, and advise on policy coverage while coordinating with insurers, clients and external experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is an advantage candidates specializing in Business Interruption (BI) / CFAS
• Professional Insurance Qualification is an added advantage
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience
• Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reported loss events, establish facts, assess causation and damages.
• Provide advice on potential policy coverage issues.
• Manage reinstatement or rehabilitation assessments where applicable.
• Draft comprehensive client reports within agreed timelines.
• Regularly update claims management system to ensure accuracy.
• Negotiate and resolve claims within authority, SLAs, KPIs.
• Coordinate with insurer clients, intermediaries, policyholders and third parties.
