Job summary

Genpact in Malaysia invites applications for the Insurance Claims – Property & Casualty role. You will efficiently manage and process auto claims while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies, and communicate with customers and underwriters to facilitate resolutions.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance or Risk Management, with exposure to reinsurance or claims.

Qualifications

• Degree in Insurance/ Actuarial Science / Economics / Finance / Risk Management, or similar.
• Exposure to reinsurance or insurance claims preferred; strong interest in developing technical claims capability.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Alteryx (training will be provided if needed).
• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of reinsurance structures, including treaties, facultative placements, and contract wording.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage and process auto insurance claims while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Analyze clients’ policy coverage to provide actionable recommendations and ensure optimal protection.
• Investigate and resolve complex insurance-related issues, escalating as necessary to maintain service quality.
• Communicate effectively with customers, underwriters, and agents to facilitate smooth policy implementation and claims resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide informed guidance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of claims, interactions, and resolutions to support audits and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience.
