Job summary

REDPYNE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Scheduler to plan, develop, and maintain detailed project schedules for construction initiatives.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather requirements, monitor progress, and adjust timelines to reflect changes and risks. The role requires at least 2 years in scheduling within construction, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a project scheduler or similar role in construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with schedule risk analysis and resource planning is desirable.
• Valid driving license.

About the role

As a Project Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and maintaining project schedules for our project initiatives. Your work will be essential to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software(Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc) and methodologies

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather schedule requirements and constraints

Monitor schedule progress and update timelines to reflect actual project activities and changes.

Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and potential delays, proposing mitigation strategies.

Attend project meeting, prepare and present detailed schedule reports to project stakeholders and management.

Monitor material deliveries, manpower allocation, equipment availability and site resources to support project execution.

Develop visual aids such as Gantt charts, dashboards, diagrams and process map to communicate scheduling needs.

Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure alignment between project schedules and operational requirements.

Manage schedule revisions and communicate impacts of changes to all relevant parties.

Analyse project data to improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency for future projects.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project milestones and statutory requirements throughout all phases of construction.

Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager or Management.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven experience of at least 2 years working as a Project Scheduler or in a similar scheduling role within the construction industry.

Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent applications.

Attention to detail and strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and project delivery systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex scheduling scenarios.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Familiarity with schedule risk analysis.

Experience with resource planning and allocation is highly desirable.

Possess a valid driving license.
