Job summary

Mindteck, a global engineering and technology solutions company, seeks a site engineer for relay testing and commissioning at the Klang Valley data center site in Malaysia. You will execute electrical automation tasks, read schematics, review commissioning records, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on-site.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of field experience, familiarity with high-voltage systems, and strong coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in relay testing, commissioning, and electrical automation.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and high-voltage systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of protection relays, SCADA systems, and automation protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee relay testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Support the implementation and integration of automation systems at the data center site.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning records.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens and Google’s safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to subcontractors and junior engineers.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide updates on project progress

Key Responsibilities
