Job summary

RoviSys in Malaysia is looking for a Project Planner to plan, manage, and maintain the schedule for control systems site installation and commissioning. You will work with Project Managers, site operation staff, vendors and contractors to ensure the project timeline aligns with client milestones.

Responsibilities include developing schedules with Primavera P6 or MS Project, monitoring critical path, producing weekly/monthly progress reports, and assisting with resource leveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience with project management software: Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• 1-3 years of planning experience in green-field construction projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in weekly progress meetings with Main Contractor and clients, providing updates on our progress, including highlighting risks or delays.

You will work closely with Project Managers, site operation staff, vendors as well as contractors on timeline and technical milestones to ensure sync between RoviSys and the overall project timeline provided by the end Client, ensuring project’s critical path and on-time delivery is aligned.

Description of work:

• Work closely with project managers, site operations staff, vendors to create and manage detailed project schedule, focused on the Building Management Systems (BMS) deliverable.
• Develop and implement project schedule using Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Identify and monitor critical path of the project including liaison with other MEP handovers to ensure minimal impact on our system deliverables.
