Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Johor, Malaysia, to coordinate multi-department efforts, align resources, and ensure on-time delivery of enterprise IT projects. You will collaborate with customers to define scope, lead progress meetings, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Vertiv divisions.

Ideal candidates have a Engineering degree with 7–10 years in turnkey data centre projects, strong PM techniques, and excellent leadership and communication skills in

Qualifications

• A Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 7–10 years in enterprise and IT project management (turnkey data centre site preparation works).
• Strong knowledge in project management techniques and good communications skills.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Good spoken and written skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, good team player and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments to secure resources for projects under his direct supervision.
• Understand customer needs to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in project meetings with various customers under his direct supervision.
• Assist PMO for planning implementation schedules and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• To maintain good working relationships with customers and Vertiv divisions.
• Coordinate all M&E services at site.
• Supervise and develop project team for continual improvement.
