Vertiv is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the successful implementation of assigned projects by appointed vendors in Malaysia. The role requires close collaboration with the PMO and cross-functional teams to ensure resource readiness, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.

Your leadership will drive on-site M&E coordination, progress reporting, and adherence to budget and quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering project

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering or equivalent with extensive experience in enterprise and IT projects, especially turnkey data centre site prep.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and customer-focused abilities.

To assist the Project Management Team to co-ordinate and ensure that the implementation for assigned projects are successfully implemented by the appointed vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist theProject ManagementTeam to co-ordinate with other departments to secure resources needed for projects which are under his direct supervision.
• Understand customer needs in order to achieve overall project goals and objectives as well as to secure high level of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in project meetings with various customers under his direct supervision.
• Assist Project ManagementTeam for schedules implementation to ensure smooth flow of the project implementation.
• Assist Project ManagementTeam to deliver set profit margins of projects.
• To maintain good working relationship with customers and other various Vertiv divisions and departments.
• Coordinate all the M&E services in efficient manner at site.
• Supervise, motivate and develop his direct project team member for continual improvement and optimised performance.
• To understand customer requirements in order to achieve overall project goals and objectives as well as to secure high level of customer satisfaction.
• To be responsible for high standard and good quality of all installation work from P.O. to receipt of payment.
• To attend progress meetings and to understand customer requirements.
• To inform customer on the progress of all the projects that under his team.
• To provide satisfactory service in order to maintain high level customer satisfaction.
• To coordinate all the M&E services in efficient manner at site.
• To assist thePMO Director, Project Managementfor planning implementation schedules and human resource allocation to ensure smooth implementation within budget and time frame of every project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Degree in Engineering fields or equivalent with minimum 7-10 years working experience in enterprise and IT industry with major involvement in project management in the turnkey data centre site preparation works.
• Strong knowledge in project management techniques and good communications skills.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Good spoken and written skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, good team player and customer focus.
