Ipsos Malaysia is seeking a capable Project Manager to support the Corporate Reputation Research team in the day-to-day execution of client projects, including tracking studies and ad hoc research for multinational clients.

In this role, you will support the Ipsos Corporate Reputation Research team in the day-to-day execution of client projects. Responsibilities range from supporting yearly or continuous tracking projects to ad hoc projects for a client base of large, often multinational organisations, that are a mix of B2B and B2C. Key research topics are reputation, trust, community sentiment, ESG and the impact of geo-political and socio-economic issues. Advanced qualitative and quantitative methods are deployed, and respondents include senior stakeholders (government, regulators, industry associations), businesses and the general public. Working closely with Researchers, you will help ensure projects are set up correctly and run efficiently end to end, delivering to specification and delighting the client.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks and change control across complex projects
Coordinate with research, operations/fieldwork, scripting, and data processing teams; run status updates and ensure clear task ownership and resource planning
Assess feasibility, sampling design, quotas, and incidence; advise on approach and trade-offs
Monitor fieldwork and reconcile progress against target sample requirements and quality KPIs; manage vendors to agreed SLAs
Maintain rigorous documentation, including change logs, version control, governance trackers, and project financials (estimates/invoicing)
Review questionnaires, stimuli, feasibility, and respondent experience; recommend improvements and ensure version control
Oversee programmed survey testing across markets; validate content, logic/routing, instructions and stimuli
Manage translations/overlays and ensure consistency across versions and markets
Oversee receipt and QA of datasets (Excel, SPSS, Q, InfoTools); ensure logic checks and spec compliance
Partner with researchers to shape analysis plans and storylines aligned to client objectives; oversee report production and perform thorough QC on all outputs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology, Economics, Business, or a related or similar field
At least 6 years of market research project management experience, including complex/multi-market tracking and ad hoc studies
Applied knowledge of sampling methodologies (e.g., quotas, incidence, weighting, significant testing)
Excellent written and verbal communications in English
Strong critical thinking, mathematical/quantitative reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
Advanced data manipulation skills in SPSS/Q software proficiency preferred
Strong quantitative analysis skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in using project management platforms and methodologies
