Job summary

MHA Consultancy Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple software projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, quality, and business objectives.

You will develop project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and changes, oversee governance, and drive automation, digitalization, and AI initiatives to improve productivity and delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years IT / Software Project Management experience.
• 2+ years team management or project leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple IT / Software Projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, project planning, risk, resources, change, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT Projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery meets scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and delivery strategies.
• Prioritize projects and resources based on business impact, urgency, risk, and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Business, Operations, and external stakeholders.
• Take overall ownership of project delivery, risk, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Manage scope, requirements, priorities, and change requests.
• Oversee full project lifecycle from Requirement → Development → Testing → UAT → Release → Post-Implementation Review.
• Manage Project KPIs, Progress Reporting, and Performance Reviews to ensure project visibility and delivery quality.
• Establish and improve Project Management Processes, SOPs, Standards, and Governance.
• Drive Automation, Digitalization, and AI to improve productivity and reduce manual work and errors.
• Lead, coach, and develop Project Coordinators, Senior Project Coordinators, AMs, and Project Managers.
• Work closely with Senior Management to align IT projects with business priorities and company objectives.

Job Requirements

• Strong Leadership, Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, and Strategic Thinking skills.
• Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in Team Management, Coaching, and Talent Development.
• Experience with Process Improvement, Automation, Digitalization, or AI is an advantage.
• Strong Ownership, Accountability, Communication, and Organizational Skills.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
