Job summary

WASRENO SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end interior design and fit-out projects. You will coordinate with clients, designers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires strong knowledge of interior construction methods, reading technical drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office. A proactive, collaborative leader with transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and safety regulations is an advantage.
• Have own transport

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of interior design and fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with clients, interior designers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Develop project schedules, work programs, and progress reports.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Supervise site activities to ensure work quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and contractor coordination meetings.
• Review drawings, material submissions, and shop drawings before implementation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Track project variations, claims, and cost control measures.
• Resolve project issues, delays, and technical challenges efficiently.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for material delivery and installation schedules.
• Prepare and submit regular project status updates to management and clients.
• Ensure successful project handover, defect rectification, and close-out documentation.
