Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead overall site progress (substructure, RC structure, architectural, and M&E works), manage master schedules (CPM/S-Curve), and resolve bottlenecks.
• Control project budgets, monitor expenditure, and manage VO, progress claims, and EOT with QS team.
• Enforce compliance with drawings, specs, and QA/QC frameworks; oversee RFI, inspections, and defect rectifications.
• Enforce OSHA/DOSH (JKKP), CIDB standards, and local authority requirements (MBAS/ Kedah).
• Coordinate with clients, resident engineers, architects, C&S/M&E consultants, subcontractors, and utilities.
• Identify risks early, execute recovery plans, and provide progress updates to senior management.

PROJECT MANAGER (HIGH-RISE CONSTRUCTION)

We are looking for a high-caliber Project Manager to lead and oversee a high-rise construction project in Alor Setar, Kedah. You will be responsible for end-to-end site management from substructure/superstructure execution up to architectural finishes, testing & commissioning, and final handover—ensuring delivery on scope, time, budget, quality, and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

Lead overall site progress (substructure, RC structure, architectural, and M&E works), manage master schedules (CPM/S-Curve), and resolve critical site bottlenecks

Control project budgets, monitor expenditure, and manage Variation Orders (VO), progress claims, and EOT applications together with the QS team

Enforce compliance with approved drawings, structural specs, and quality frameworks (e.g., QLASSIC). Oversee RFI, site inspections, and defect rectifications

Enforce strict adherence to OSHA/DOSH (JKKP) regulations, CIDB standards, and local authority requirements (MBAS / local councils in Kedah)

Coordinate effectively with clients, resident engineers, architects, C&S/M&E consultants, sub-contractors, and utility providers (TNB, SADA, etc.)

Identify site/supply risks early, execute recovery plans (catch-up programs), and submit regular progress updates to senior management

About you

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent

Minimum 5 – 8 years of construction experience, with a proven track record in High-Rise Residential / Commercial developments (e.g., Serviced Apartments, Condominiums, Multi-storey Commercial Complexes)

Good knowledge of high-rise construction methodologies (e.g., aluminum formwork, tower crane logistics, deep foundation/piling, structural RC works, and façade integration)

Based in or willing to relocate/commute to Alor Setar, Kedah

Strong leadership, problem-solving, site coordination, and contractor management skills
