Job summary

Skribble Lab in Malaysia is seeking a Software Project Manager to plan timelines, milestones, and resource needs to meet client expectations. You will plan, execute and monitor software development sprints and scrum sessions, and track progress and risks with clear actions to keep projects on track.

You will collaborate with business users to gather requirements, map processes, and manage stakeholders in an IT software project.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a larger team.
• Strong command of English and Chinese for professional communication at all levels.
• Capable of writing documentation and articulating ideas clearly.
• Familiar with BPM, UML, and User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• 2–3 years of software development project experience.
• Project management experience in IT software.
• Able to manage direct reports and collaborate with teammates.
• Willingness to travel to client locations; travel costs reimbursed.

The Candidate will possess the following skills/expertise:

• Able to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
• Strong command of English and Chinese to communicate professionally at all levels.

• Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in any software development projects.
• Good knowledge of software development and technical background is an added advantage.
• IT software project management experience is an added advantage.
• Able to manage direct reports, working closely with other teammates to produce results.
• Require to travel to client location for workshops, sprint reviews, deployment or support. All travelling costs will be reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Keen eye for details, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
