Job summary

STC Property Management Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage all project activities from preliminary to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

You will own project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordinate with consultants and contractors, with focus on design development and construction oversight. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in real estate, strong presentation and liaison skills with authorities, and experience

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with experience in project planning.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the real estate industry.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Sound knowledge and strong liaison skills with local authorities, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling commercial, retail, residential, and master planning development projects.
  • Results-oriented with self-motivation and initiative.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all project activities from preliminary, conceptual, planning, design development, construction, and completion stages.

  • Review and provide recommendations on design, technical, and construction-related matters.
  • Liaise with government authorities and agencies to secure necessary approvals for project planning, commencement, construction, and completion.
  • Identify key project issues and develop an appropriate work plan.
  • Monitor contractors' progress to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project completion.
  • Manage unforeseen delays and technical issues promptly.
  • Organize and conduct regular progress meetings with consultants and contractors, keeping management informed.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records.
  • Ensure site safety and compliance with health, safety, and welfare requirements.
