ADEPT CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee diverse projects from initiation to close. You will hire subcontractors, coordinate with vendors and track equipment inventory while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Project Manager in construction, preferably in Industrial Factory, FAB, CUB.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills such as time management, budgeting, resource management and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Define the project scope.
• Ensure projects are executed timely, within budget and comply to contractual requirements in respect of quality and specification.
• Create a construction project management plan.
• Liaise with client, consultants, sub-contractors, local authorities to ensure project implemented smoothly.
• Develop a construction schedule, with project deliverables and milestones.
• Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery.
• Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers and equipment.
• Allocate and manage resource logistics.
• Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager and other members of the construction team.
• Obtain building permits, licenses and meet code regulations.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
