Job summary

GRAFIK NURI SDN BHD (GNSB) seeks an experienced Civil/Building project professional to monitor progress and ensure schedules stay on track. You will coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to feed feedback to management.

You will support the Project Director on final accounts and cost control, and oversee quality, safety, and progress reporting across multi-discipline teams. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Building Construction, Project Management or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of related working experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong leadership and multi-discipline management.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress to keep project program and schedules on time.
• Liaise with clients representatives, consultants and related parties and feed back to management.
• Assist Project Director on final accounts and project cost management within budget.
• Manage quality, productivity, sub-contractor claims, site safety, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate site drawings checks and resolve discrepancies with architecture and structure.
• Prepare work programs, schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
• Attend site meetings and organize internal meetings to resolve issues.

Job description

Monitor construction progress to ensure project program/schedules are on time.

Liaise with clients representatives, Consultant and all related parties on all aspect of construction activities and feed back to management.

To assist Project Director for full spectrum project related matters including final accounts and constantly ensure project cost is kept within budget.

Responsible for project matters. This will include but not limited to quality and productivity management, checking of sub-contractor claims, site contractual matters, safety and health issues, site personnel, site progress vs. construction schedule, timely and accurate site reports.

Check and resolve discrepancies between structure and architecture drawings and other information required pertaining to the construction details.

To prepare work program, schedule and plan for projects resources, manage the allocation efficiently.

To monitor sub-contractor's performance, progress of works and claims.

To attend site meeting with consultants and clients and organize internal meeting with subcontractor to resolve the technical and site logistic issues.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Building Construction, Project Management or equivalent.

At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required to this position

Good interpersonal, communication skills and subjective minded

Strong leadership and management skills with experience in managing multi-discipline tasks

Required language(s) : English and Bahasa Malaysia
