Job summary

SLB is seeking a Project Manager Direct to deliver a standalone product or service project for an external customer, with accountability for the project’s revenue and profitability. You will lead engineering teams, organize launch meetings, ensure adherence to PM procedures, and drive contract, risk, and change controls to successful on-time delivery.

This role reports to Regional Heads or Senior Project Manager Direct and requires strong collaboration, ongoing improvement, and clear stakeholder

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall project performance.
• Maintains a strong relationship with the relevant customer.
• Organizes project launch meetings ensuring that all requirements are completed in accordance with company procedure.
• Ensure the project is run in accordance with the project management system and procedures, establishing and aligning project specific procedures where required by contract.
• Implement project controls including contract management, claims management, risk management, and change management.
• Identify and mitigate changes to project scope via Management of Change (MOCs).
• Provide updates and project forecasts for completion of project, cash milestones, margin, on-time delivery, and resources.
• Act as main point of contact for all project administration-related tasks with customer.
• Successfully foster collaboration between engineering teams as packages and system (if applicable).
• Document opportunities for continuous improvement and lessons learned in appropriate databases for future use.
• Act as project team leader for all aspects and members of the project (engineering, project services, manufacturing, etc.) keeping a regular agenda and communication.

Job description

The Project Manager Direct is responsible to deliver a one product or service project to an external costumer and has the accountability for the project’s revenue and profitability results. Develops best practices across multiple customers or across the Business Line. Note: This position can report to either Regional Head of Project Execution 82940589, Program Manager Direct 82940530 or Senior Project Manager Direct 82940529.
