1. Prepare baseline management products, and agree them with the Project Steering Committee:
a. Project Product Description
b. Project Initiation Documentc. Stage Plan
d. Work Packages
2. Prepare the following reports:
a. Highlight reports
b. Issue reports
c. End stage reports
d. Exception reports
e. End project report
3. Maintain the following records:
a. Issue register
b. Risk register
c. Daily log
d. Lesson log
4. Kick-Off meeting between Sales and Project Team
5. Lead the defined project team
6. Project Kick-Off meeting with customers.
7. To have clear matrix of responsibility or work share between RSMY / principle / customers / vendors / suppliers / sub-contractors
8. Liaise with any external suppliers or account managers
9. Manage information flows between the directing and delivering levels of the project
10. Responsible for overall progress and use of resources and initiating corrective action where necessary.
11. Establish and manage the project procedures – risk management, issue and change control, configuration management and communication
12. Establish and manage the project controls – monitoring and reporting.
13. Authorizes work packages
14. Advise the Project Steering Committee of any deviations from plan
15. Contract review and execution with Customer and Suppliers/Vendors.
16. Handover project to After Sales for warranty support
17. Monitor the project expenses based on the project accounting report by Finance
18. Projects are invoiced according to payment terms agreed in contract or customer purchase order
19. Project Finance is closed with provision of man-hours, warranty support, unpaid vendors/suppliers/sub-contractor invoices
20. As the Technical Project Manager, additional responsibilities include:
a. For regional responsibilities, coordinate in the preparation of offers, responses to RFT, RFQ, RFI and RFP.
b. Together with the Head of Department, discuss the workshare matrix across boundaries (subsidies, customer and end-users).
c. Participate in technical solutions discussions with AS in R&S HQ and drive the deliverables of solutions and offers
d. Assist local Sales Team in Product Demonstration, Exhibition and Proof of Concept e. Bridge between respective country Sales and Engineering team in providing solutions that meet the technical & commercial requirements
