Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager role.
• Proven experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, project planning, and cost control.
• Familiar with Malaysian building regulations, CIDB requirements, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion and handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and work programmes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
• Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and contractual obligations are achieved.
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues promptly.
• Oversee project cost control, procurement, variation orders, and claims.
• Review and approve project documentation, drawings, method statements, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide project updates to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities' regulations, CIDB requirements, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, and other project personnel.
• Ensure successful project completion, testing, commissioning, handover, and defect liability management.
