Job summary

KDDI Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead complex cabling and IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery. You will define scope, develop plans, manage resources and budgets, and ensure milestones are met.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, liaise with clients and vendors, monitor risks and quality, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and updates for senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, structured cabling systems, and system integration.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2).
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation and budgets.
• Manage project qualities, timelines, budgets and risks.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify cabling and IT installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent).

Soft Skills

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience

5+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in cabling projects.

Proven track record of delivering complex IT and cabling projects successfully.
