Job summary

MSPHitect Sdn Bhd seeks an IT Project Manager for a client in Kuala Lumpur to oversee projects with emphasis on regulatory compliance and governance. The role requires deep knowledge of BNM guidelines, RMiT, cybersecurity controls, and resilience planning across banking systems.

You will perform requirement analysis, conduct SIT, review UAT scripts, and manage changes while ensuring adherence to internal controls and SDLC standards.

Job description

We are looking for an IT Project Manager for our client in KL.

Strong understanding of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory requirements, technology guidelines, and compliance frameworks impacting banking systems.

Knowledge of Risk Management in Technology (RMiT), cybersecurity controls, IT governance, and operational resilience requirements within the financial services sector

Requirement Analysis - ensure completeness of the business & system requirements

Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT)

Review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tests script

Implementation - Manage and control changes to the application objects to ensure system integrity

Ensure compliance to the internal control and standards and also to comply with regulatory requirements.

Ensure SDLC documentation for new systems/enhancement is in order as per GIT guideline and procedure.

Execute corrective & remediation measures with the relevant parties relating to audit findings, ensuring actions are taken within deadline.

Manage projects on a daily basis including tracking of timeline, monitor project status, issues, risks and change request to ensure the projects meet its goals and intended scope
