Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer to join our growing automotive manufacturing team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates passionate about engineering, project coordination, and manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development, process improvement, and project execution from concept to mass production, with opportunities to travel for customer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/mechatronics engineering or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years experience in automotive/manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD knowledge and automotive manufacturing processes are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing new product development and project implementation activities.
• Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables with internal departments and customers.
• Support product launches, including trial runs, PPAP submissions, and production readiness.
• Monitor project progress and prepare project status reports.
• Liaise with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and customers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and presentations.
• Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support customer audits, technical discussions, and project reviews when required.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer specifications.
