Job summary

XL Retail Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage company projects from initiation to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery within budget and meet quality standards across store openings, renovations, and setups.

Responsibilities include developing timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, tracking budgets, and reporting progress to management. Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in project management or related field.
• 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Retail, F&B, construction, property, or store-opening project experience is an advantage.
• Strong planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project timelines, milestones, action plans, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Track project budgets, expenses, and resource requirements.
• Identify project risks, delays, and operational issues and propose solutions.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to management.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, status updates, and documentation.
• Coordinate renovation, setup, installation, relocation, and store-opening projects where required.
• Ensure project deliverables meet company requirements and quality standards.
