Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd, based in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, seeks a Project Lead (PCBA) to drive customer projects from RFQ through NPI and mass production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years in PCBA/EMS, with strong English and Mandarin communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic/ Electrical/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA, EMS, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience managing customer projects, NPI activities, or program management is preferred.
• Basic understanding of SMT/PCBA manufacturing processes and project management.
• Able to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and product specifications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to speak and understand Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.

• Lead customer projects from RFQ through New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production.
• Coordinate RFQ activities and work with cross-functional teams to support timely and accurate quotations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and customer requirements are met.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Coordinate Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up to ensure successful product launch.
• Ensure projects are successfully transferred to mass production.
• Prepare project status reports and present updates to management and customers.
