Job summary

Ditrolic Energy Group is seeking a Contract Executive in Malaysia to oversee contractual matters for solar and industrial projects, ensuring adherence to terms, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the company’s commercial interests across the project lifecycle.

The role leads project finance work, structures deals for solar, wind, storage, and hybrids, and coordinates due diligence with legal and technical teams to optimize returns across Asia.

Qualifications

• Must have CFA or equivalent designation and strong experience in project/corporate finance within energy/infrastructure.
• Experience in renewable energy transactions and capital structuring is essential.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital raising efforts including debt, equity, and blended finance instruments.
• Structure green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and other ESG-aligned financing tools.
• Manage relationships with development banks, institutional investors, and commercial lenders.
• Structure and execute project finance deals for solar, wind, battery storage, and hybrid projects.
• Oversee financial modeling, risk allocation, and bankability assessments.
• Negotiate term sheets, financing agreements, and coordinate due diligence with legal and technical advisors.
• Support acquisition and divestment of renewable energy assets across Asia.
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and investment committee presentations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize asset performance and returns.
• Interface with PE sponsors, board members, and strategic partners on financial strategy.
• Prepare investment memos, board papers, and financial dashboards for senior leadership.
• Navigate regulatory frameworks and market dynamics across diverse Asian jurisdictions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team with deep sector expertise.

The Contract Executive is responsible for administering, managing, and overseeing contractual matters for solar (PV) and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the company’s commercial interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure and execute project finance deals for solar, wind, battery storage, and hybrid projects

M&A and Investment Support

• Support acquisition and divestment of renewable energy assets across Asia

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, with CFA or equivalent designation
• Proven track record in renewable energy transactions, corporate restructuring exercises and infrastructure financing
• Experience in a PE-backed environment or high-growth energy platform preferred; with understanding of capital markets, ESG finance, and risk structuring
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
