Job summary

Ditrolic Energy in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Finance professional to lead project costing and construction finance for utility-scale renewables. You will partner with project managers and regional finance to ensure accurate budgeting, cost control, and cashflow planning across multiple live projects.

The role requires 5–8 years in EPC/renewables finance, a degree in accounting or finance (CPA/ACCA preferred), and strong skills in WIP, treasury operations, and ERP systems (Dynamics 365).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 5–8 years in construction, infrastructure, or EPC finance, ideally within renewables.
• Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP accounting, and cashflow modeling.
• Experience managing treasury operations and working capital in project-based environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed budgets for utility-scale solar installations.
• Track actual costs vs. budget across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Implement cost control measures and variance analysis to ensure financial discipline.
• Support bid pricing and financial inputs for new project tender.
• Prepare rolling cashflow forecasts and manage project treasury operations.
• Liaise with banks for drawdowns, guarantees, and working capital facilities.
• Produce monthly project P&Ls and cashflow dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors on project-related financial matters.
• Partner with project managers and regional finance leadership to support reporting and planning.

Key Responsibilities

Project Costing & Construction Finance

• Develop and manage detailed project budgets for utility-scale solar installations
• Track actual costs vs. budget across engineering, procurement, and construction phases
• Implement cost control measures and variance analysis to ensure financial discipline
• Support bid pricing and financial inputs for new project tender

Cashflow & Treasury Management

• Prepare and maintain rolling cashflow forecasts across multiple concurrent projects
• Manage project-level treasury operations including payments, collections, and fund allocations
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for drawdowns, guarantees, and working capital facilities
• Monitor liquidity and ensure timely funding of project milestones and supplier obligations
• Produce monthly financial reports, project P&Ls, and cashflow dashboards
• Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors on project-related financial matters

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to align financial strategy with execution
• Interface with regional finance leadership to support group-level reporting and capital planning
• Provide financial insights to support contract negotiations, risk management, and strategic decisions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred)
• 5–8 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC finance—ideally within renewable energy
• Strong understanding of project costing, WIP accounting, and cashflow modeling
• Experience managing treasury operations and working capital in a project-based environment
• Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
