Job summary

Jalakx Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Event Project Executive to plan and manage events from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with objectives and budget.

You will source vendors, negotiate contracts, create event concepts, and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth execution, with a proactive approach to handle last-minute changes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mass Communication or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse communities.
• Creative mindset with ability to develop engaging event ideas.
• Previous experience in event management is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, audience and objectives.
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Prepare budgets and ensure adherence.
• Research event ideas (design & concept). Themes. Entertainments. Trends, venues, activities & etc.
• Source & negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Liaise with supplier to ensure timely production delivery.
• Prepare event-related documents (DO, Checklist & etc.)
• Ensure events are completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
• Be prepared for ad hoc events and last-minute plannings.
• Arrange for event props, tools walkie-talkie and other necessary items.
