Job summary

JAC Recruitment International in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Plant Engineer to lead wastewater treatment projects for private and public clients. You will coordinate with the Malaysia branch GM, Sales and engineering teams to drive project execution from design through commissioning.

The role requires deep knowledge of WWTP facilities, tender interpretation, and effective communication with customers to capture requirements and track progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, biological, chemical, construction)
• Over 10 years of experience as engineering work for Waste Water Treatment Plant business
• Familiar with plant engineering related to WWTP facilities or other plant business
• Knowledge/experience of Plant business (tender documents and client requirements)
• Knowledge/experience of Plant execution as Project Manager; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities include Plant engineer for Malaysia Environmental business in Kubota Malaysia Branch
• Communicate with General Manager in Malaysia Branch, Sales or Engineer PIC in Malaysia Branch or Japan HQ (in English) to proceed project execution for wastewater treatment based on HQ instruction and client requirement
• Communicate with customers (public and private) to capture requirements and create/manage project execution documentation (detailed design, RFQ, drawings, cost status, schedule status)
• Discuss project progress (design, schedule, countermeasures) with Engineering and Sales PIC

Product / Service: Supplier for environmental equipment or EPC contractor for water related business operation. Provide service in design, construction, commissioning and consultation for Sewage & WWTP. Clients: Private industrial factories, Private plant supplier, JPP, IWK, or Sewage constructor in Malaysia.

Job description:

• Primary responsibilities include Plant engineer for Malaysia Environmental business in Kubota Malaysia Branch
• Communicate with General Manager in Malaysia Branch, Sales or Engineer PIC in Malaysia Branch or Japan HQ (in English) to proceed project execution for waste water treatment based on HQ instruction and client requirement.
• Communicate with customer (Public and Private customer) to get their requirement- Creating and Managing project execution document control (Detail design, Request for quotation, Project Drawing, Project Cost status, Project Schedule status) for each waste water treatment plant project
• Discussion with customer for project progress matter (Design, Schedule, Countermeasure) with Engineering and Sales PIC

Requirements:

• Degree in any engineering (mechanical, electrical, biological, chemical, construction) study.
• Over 10 years of experience as engineering work for Waste Water Treatment Plant business
• Must be familiar plant engineering related to either waste water treatment facilities, or other Plant business.
• Knowledge or experience of Plant business. (Understand tender document and client requirement, Discuss with customer about requirement or Import matter)
• Knowledge or experience of Plant execution as Project Manager- Skill: Must be familiar with Word, Excel, Power point and Auto-CAD
