Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, including workshops, conferences, conventions
• Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and guests throughout the event lifecycle
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, run sheets, and budgets
• Lead on-site coordination on the day of the event, including setup, execution, and teardown
• Host or emcee events as required, representing the company professionally
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments to align on event objectives and requirements
• Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time during live events
• Compile post-event reports, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future events

Job description

This role suits a proactive, well-organised individual who is comfortable leading events independently and communicating confidently across a multilingual, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Proficient in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written

Strong team player, able to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors

Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision

Confident public speaking and presentation skills, comfortable hosting in front of an audience

Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Business, Communications, or a related field

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Working proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
