Private Advertiser seeks a hands-on Project Engineer to drive X-ray scanning and security inspection projects across Malaysia. You will coordinate the technical implementation from site readiness and installation through testing, commissioning, and ongoing support.

You will liaise with principals, main contractors, customers, authorities and technical teams, coordinate documentation, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. On-site work and travel across Malaysia are required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance or technical project coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical and network diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Strong coordination, troubleshooting and technical report writing skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage for communication with principals.

• Deliver successful installations: Coordinate equipment delivery, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare sites for deployment: Conduct site inspections and complete Site Readiness Checklists before installation.
• Verify technical compliance: Ensure machines, accessories, computer systems, networks and UPS meet project specifications.
• Manage project documentation: Prepare method statements, test procedures, installation and commissioning reports, defect lists and handover documents.
• Resolve technical issues: Coordinate corrective actions and ensure closure of NCRs.
• Connect project stakeholders: Liaise with principals, main contractors, customers, authorities and technical teams.
• Support reliable operations: Coordinate user training, preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts and technical support.
• Maintain safe working practices: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.

Join our team to deliver X-ray scanning and security inspection projects across Malaysia. We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, coordinating teams and turning project requirements into reliable, operational systems. You will coordinate the technical implementation of X-ray scanning machines, from site readiness and installation through testing, commissioning and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

Deliver successful installations: Coordinate equipment delivery, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering or a related field.

At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally 2-5 years, in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance or technical project coordination.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical and network diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Strong coordination, troubleshooting and technical report writing skills.

Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with principals.

Willingness to work on-site and travel throughout Malaysia, with overseas training or factory inspections when required.

A valid driving licence.

Added Advantage : Experience with X-ray scanning machines, security inspection systems, conveyor systems or industrial equipment, and knowledge of radiation safety.
