Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia's Johor region is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to plan, execute and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to delivery.

The role requires ensuring on-time completion in line with objectives and coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal departments. You will develop project plans, monitor progress, manage documentation, and address engineering changes while ensuring quality, cost, schedule and safety are maintained.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in project engineering or coordination.
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery, automation or precision engineering preferred.
• Strong planning, scheduling and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, technical documents and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD/PM software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with teamwork and timely delivery focus.
• Fluent Mandarin and English preferred for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

Job Description (JD)

• Plan, execute and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion in accordance with project objectives and requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules and resource arrangements, and monitor progress throughout each project phase.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare, organise and maintain project-related technical documents, drawings, reports and progress records.
• Follow up on product development, new product introduction, engineering changes and technical issues, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve problems.
• Monitor project quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate solutions.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with project management software or CAD software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently follow up on project tasks and deliver results within established timelines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and responsible, with good teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred for work-related communication.
