Job summary

ZStack Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled cloud engineer to lead private cloud delivery, testing, and optimization for our ZStack platform in Kuala Lumpur.

You will develop test and deployment plans, provide on-site training, and prepare operation manuals while collaborating with remote support teams to meet KPIs.

The role requires 3+ years of enterprise private cloud delivery, strong virtualization and scripting skills, and fluent English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, networking, Linux, and cloud technologies.
• Proficient in Shell/Python scripting and familiar with Ceph and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiar with VMware VCF/VCF; VCP-DCV certification required.
• Basic knowledge of mainstream switches and servers.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with proven enterprise private cloud project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop test and deployment plans for ZStack private cloud products, and complete on-site testing, optimization, deployment, and project acceptance.
• Provide on-site technical training and knowledge transfer, and prepare operation manuals and troubleshooting guides for customers.
• Troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues, including hardware replacement, cluster recovery, and cloud platform faults.
• Support high-risk operations such as platform upgrades, cluster expansion/migration, disaster recovery drills, and data recovery to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with remote technical support teams on issue escalation, troubleshooting, solution verification, and closure.
• Achieve service KPIs, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate, while contributing technical cases, SOPs, and best practices to the internal knowledge base.
