Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead Civil & Structural engineering efforts on construction projects. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and budgets are managed effectively.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of delivery experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry with proven delivery.

• Familiar with local construction regulations, safety requirements, and building standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee Civil & Structural engineering works for construction projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, including supervision of site personnel and subcontractors.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings, specifications, and submissions with the design team.
• Prepare project reports, site updates, and documentation for management and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and project management processes.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry with proven project delivery experience.

Proficient in engineering and project management software such as AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project coordination skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Familiar with local construction regulations, safety requirements, and building standards.

Able to work independently under pressure and manage tight project deadlines.

Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities with good site coordination experience.

Candidates with experience in project management and liaising with local authorities will have an added advantage.

Preferably experienced in handling submissions, approvals, and coordination with relevant authorities and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
