Job summary

AEG SDN BHD is recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the Project Management team at our Shah Alam site. The role involves planning, monitoring, and coordinating project activities, with hands-on oversight of materials, installation, and testing on site.

You will prepare work programs, verify subcontractor claims, liaise with vendors and clients, and travel as required. A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering and proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiar with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good command in English speaking, writing and reporting.
• Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skill and attention to details.
• Able to work as a team and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills; liaise with vendors, suppliers and Clients.
• Self-motivated, self-learner and able to work under pressure and long hours.
• Willing to travel outstation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management team.
• Assign project personnel to specific phases or aspect of project such as technical studies, technical plans, product testing and other.
• Planning and monitoring project activities.
• Prepare, monitor and review work program for timely completion.
• To verify all subcontractor claim and supplier product.
• To monitor the daily distribution of work and responsibilities to subordinates.
• To ensure that all customers' request are promptly attended.
• Prepare material/product catalogues/samples for submission and approval.
• Responsible for all materials/installation/test inspection on site.
• Any others special task assigned by management.
