Job summary

SH Seng Heng Engineering Sdn Bhd, based in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to manage end-to-end engineering projects. You will develop plans, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires CAD proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Fresh graduates with internships and 1–3 years' experience are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or project execution.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience and strong CAD skills are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Autodesk Inventor will be an added advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Coordinate with management, production, quality and procurement teams to determine project requirements and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, costs and schedules, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure projects are completed according to approved specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment and other project resources.
• Prepare tender documents, cost estimates and bills of materials (BOM).
• Prepare and support basic and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and other relevant software.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project drawings, records and documentation.
• Provide regular project progress reports to the Production Manager.
• Identify and resolve technical or operational issues arising during project execution.
• Perform other reasonable duties required to support project and operational needs.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time to support operational needs.

What We Offer

Monthly salary of RM2,500–RM3,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
