Cheng Hoon Air Cond Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Butterworth, Penang team. As a full-time Project Engineer, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

You will manage technical support, project coordination, inspection, procurement review, documentation, and site supervision, working with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a project engineering role.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources.
• Strong planning, organisation and delivery of complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical support to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate project resources and task allocation with contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Conduct inspections and follow up on corrective actions to meet quality standards and safety.
• Review material usage and procurement requests to control costs.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records; report progress to management.
• Assist in site supervision and ensure progress aligns with schedule; resolve daily operational issues.
