Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Project Engineer for a 1-year renewable contract in Port Dickson, Malaysia. You will manage projects, service security systems, and supervise installations per APAC standards, while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 1–2 years in a similar role, and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Data Centre project experience is a plus. Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm, on-site position.

• Deliver and complete projects on schedule, economically, and to clients' satisfaction according to internal standards for local and international projects.
• Service security systems and provide services; troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and manage relations with existing clients.
• Finish routine preventive maintenance on time per APAC standards and policies.
• Engage in project management, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare project engineering packages according to standard.

Job description

Title: Project Engineer

Type: Contract

Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Work hours: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm)

Location: Port Dickson

Responsibilities:

• Deliver / complete projects in schedule, economically and to clients' satisfaction, and to our internal installation standards for both local and international project.
• Service security systems and provide services to our clients. Troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Manage relations with existing clients.
• Finish routine preventive maintenance on time according to The Company's APAC standards and policies.
• Project Management, Programming, Testing & Commission, trouble shooting.
• Product pre-testing.
• Preparing project 'engineering package' according to standard.
• Site inspections. Coordination with PM, client (when needed), third parties, sub-contractors.
• Review and supervision of all equipment installations, wiring, according to product manuals, and The Company's APAC standards.
• On site client training
• Coordinate all customer service issues and managing relations with all existing clients within assigned region.
• Ensure quality of The Company's APAC services following The Company's standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
• Provide routine preventive maintenances.
• Handle daily troubleshooting, follow up all open technical issues till the problems resolved.
• Take over all service issues from Project team after External Hand Over done.
• Prepare customer training materials and deliver professional customer training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years' of experience working in a similar role
• Prior experience working in Data Centre projects will be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in BM & English
