Job description

We are seeking an ELV Engineer to support the delivery of mission-critical projects by coordinating, reviewing, and overseeing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems throughout the project lifecycle. This role will be responsible for design coordination, system integration, testing, commissioning, and technical support to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

Review and coordinate ELV systems including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, telecommunications, and related infrastructure.

Coordinate ELV interfaces with electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and building management systems.

Review technical drawings, equipment schedules, network diagrams, material submissions, and method statements.

Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical and coordination issues.

Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.

Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Maintain project documentation including RFIs, inspection records, test reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in ELV systems, ICT infrastructure, telecommunications, or building services projects.

Knowledge of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm interfaces, and BMS integration.

Familiarity with Malaysian electrical regulations, MS IEC standards, and ELV industry standards.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, network diagrams, and construction documents.

Proficient in AutoCAD and common engineering documentation tools.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
