Job summary

INSPUR COMMUNICATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an ELV and intelligent systems engineer to review and develop design deliverables for data center projects in Cyberjaya.

You will supervise installation, support commissioning, and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, civil, and controls disciplines to ensure constructability. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field, 5–8 years in ELV or intelligent systems with 3+ years on data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years ELV or intelligent systems engineering experience in construction, with 3+ years in data center projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for ELV design and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS/DCIM, and environmental monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with data center standards (Tier III/IV, Uptime Institute, GB50174, TIA-942, ISO/IEC 11801).
• Experience in EPCC project delivery and site supervision.
• PMP or BEM registration is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop design deliverables for ELV and intelligent systems including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS/DCIM, and environmental monitoring systems; ensure compliance with project specifications and data center standards
• Prepare and review key engineering documents including Scope of Work, RFQ, MOS, and T&C procedures
• Supervise installation works for ELV and intelligent systems including cable laying, termination, equipment mounting, and system integration; ensure works are executed in accordance with approved design drawings and safety standards
• Support commissioning and test run activities for ELV systems; verify installed systems against design intent; close out punch items
• Coordinate ELV design interfaces across electrical, mechanical, civil, and controls disciplines; ensure design consistency and constructability
• Ensure ELV works comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications (TIA-942, GB50174, ISO/IEC 11801, local regulations)
• Represent the ELV discipline in project/site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors

Job description

This role involves reviewing and developing design deliverables for ELV and intelligent systems including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS/DCIM, and environmental monitoring systems. You will ensure compliance with project specifications and data center standards, prepare and review key engineering documents, supervise installation works, support commissioning activities, coordinate across disciplines, and represent the ELV discipline in project coordination meetings.

Key responsibilities

About you
