Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Project Engineer for a 1-year contract in Malaysia. The role involves managing and delivering projects per APAC standards, servicing security systems, and ensuring client satisfaction across local and international projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1-2 years in a similar role; Data Centre experience is a plus. Proficiency in BM and English is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver / complete projects in schedule, economically and to clients' satisfaction, and to internal installation standards for both local and international project.
• Service security systems and provide services to our clients. Troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Ensure Customer satisfaction and manage relations with existing clients.
• Finish routine preventive maintenance on time according to APAC standards and policies.
• Project management, programming, testing & commissioning, troubleshooting.
• Site inspections and coordination with PM, client, third parties, sub-contractors.
• Review and supervision of all equipment installations according to product manuals and APAC standards.
• Coordinate all customer service issues and managing relations with all existing clients within assigned region.

Title: Project Engineer

Type: Contract

Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Work hours: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm)

Location: Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri, Kempas, Sedenak

Responsibilities:

• Deliver / complete projects in schedule, economically and to clients' satisfaction, and to our internal installation standards for both local and international project.
• Service security systems and provide services to our clients. Troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Manage relations with existing clients.
• Finish routine preventive maintenance on time according to The Company's APAC standards and policies.
• Project Management, Programming, Testing & Commission, trouble shooting.
• Product pre-testing.
• Preparing project 'engineering package' according to standard.
• Site inspections. Coordination with PM, client (when needed), third parties, sub-contractors.
• Review and supervision of all equipment installations, wiring, according to product manuals, and The Company's APAC standards.
• On site client training
• Coordinate all customer service issues and managing relations with all existing clients within assigned region.
• Ensure quality of The Company's APAC services following The Company's standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
• Provide routine preventive maintenances.
• Handle daily troubleshooting, follow up all open technical issues till the problems resolved.
• Take over all service issues from Project team after External Hand Over done.
• Prepare customer training materials and deliver professional customer training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years' of experience working in a similar role
• Prior experience working in Data Centre projects will be highly advantageous.
