Job summary

SEA HORSE SERVICES (PMT) is seeking a graduate engineer to assist in planning and execution of coating and construction projects in Malaysia. You will prepare technical documents, attend site visits, coordinate with teams, monitor progress, and support safety practices while developing SOPs and providing technical support to sales and project teams.

The role requires a degree in engineering with CGPA ≥ 3.0, strong interest in coatings, and willingness to travel and work on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field (CGPA ≥ 3.0).
• Strong interest in coatings, corrosion control, and construction-related works.
• Good communication, presentation, and coordination skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
• Willing to travel, relocate, and work on-site (onshore/offshore) as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of coating and construction projects.
• Prepare technical documents, method statements, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Attend site visits, inspections, and technical briefings with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate with operations, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare project documentation including Daily Progress Reports, Inspection Reports, and Project Closure Reports.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving technical issues, defects, and non-conformances.
• Support development and improvement of SOPs, work procedures, and safety practices.
• Provide technical support to sales and project teams when required.
