Job summary

Dover Elevators (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to support site projects, liaising with main contractors, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

You will interpret drawings, prepare programmes, manage correspondences and assist in safety and ISO 9001:2015 compliance. Fresh graduates are welcome; own transport and travel to outstations may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering disciplines.
• 1–2 years of engineering experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Own transport and willingness to travel outstation.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work programme, coordinate and monitor projects with main contractor, consultants and subcontractors.
• Interpret shop drawings, construction drawings and architect drawings.
• Handle site correspondences (submissions for approval, progress claims, reports) and ensure safety requirements.
• Understand and implement authority references (JKKP/BOMBA/Safety) including SOP and ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead supervisors and subcontractors for smooth progress and communicate with clients.

Job Responsibilities:-

Able to prepare work programme, to coordinate and monitor assigned project with main contractor, consultant, sub-contractor and reporting to Project Manager

Ability to interpret shop drawings, construction drawings and architect drawings

Responsible for site correspondences (letter, submission for approval, progress claim, project report, conduct & compile project QC checklist and safety requirement)

Understanding and implementation of authority references (JKKP/BOMBA/Safety) include company installation SOP and ISO9001:2015

Good site problem solving skill and effective communication skill and be able to communicate with client/ main contractor/ consultant and sub-contractor

Proficient in Microsoft package

Able to lead supervisor and sub-contractor for smooth progress/ operation

Proven of language proficiency for speaking and writing skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Able to conduct training about safety, installation SOP to supervisor and sub-contractor

Able to work long hours include Saturday & Sunday (upon request by Project Manager)

Requirements:-

Diploma / Degree holder in Engineering Disciplines

Minimum 1 - 2 years working experience in Engineering field (but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Computer literature / Fresh grade are welcome

Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation
