Job summary

Alloyplas Engineering Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Project Engineer to design and manage Air Pollution Control systems. You will plan projects, conduct site investigations, prepare preliminary designs, and estimate costs for mechanical and electrical works.

You will detail mechanical services, coordinate with consultants and clients, oversee shop drawings, monitor work progress, and ensure cost control and material efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese (Mandarin and Hokkien would be an advantage).
• Skills: AutoCAD, M&E design knowledge, Microsoft Office suits, and driving license.
• MS Project will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, site investigation, preliminary design, and cost estimation on Mechanical and Electrical works
• Detail designing and calculation for all mechanical services required in the project
• Coordinate and monitor the progress of work including liaison with consultant, client and relevant authority
• Prepare for new and amend any shop drawing
• Oversee the execution and management of process and ensure that all costs are properly controlled and wastages of material and manpower are minimized
• Prepare, monitor and review work program for timely completion
• Verify all subcontractor claim and supplier product
• Ensure that all customers' request are promptly attended
• Prepare material/product catalogues/samples for submission and approval
• Responsible for all materials/installation/test inspection on site
