Job summary

BOILERMASTER EM SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects from conception to delivery in Malaysia. The role requires developing detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans, while ensuring every activity aligns with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will monitor progress against KPIs, conduct site inspections, manage documentation, and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in project engineering or management.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply with aptitude to learn.
• Independent with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Job description

1. Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of assigned engineering projects from conception to delivery

2. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans

3. Monitor project progress against key performance indicators and identify risks or delays early

4. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders

5. Ensure all work meets relevant technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

6. Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify workmanship and compliance

7. Manage project documentation, drawings, and contract administration tasks

8. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues promptly

9. Support the development and implementation of project safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline

2. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in project engineering or project management
