Job description

Gyson Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team base in Lukut, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of our engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• To design and prepare CAD data, all related engineering drawings to meet corporate and customer’s requirement
• To prepare SolidWork design and fabrication drawings
• To prepare accurate Bill of Material (Material take off) for purchasing
• Complete records of site reports and ensuring high quality of work
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to understand requirements, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions
• Oversee the design, testing, and commissioning of project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and industry best practices
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and documentation
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment

What we're looking for

• Candidates must possess at least bachelor's degree in any field of engineering
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Project Engineer or in construction industry (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and data
• Proficient in the use of project management and engineering software
• Familiarity with relevant engineering standards and regulations
• Problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking skills to identify and address challenges
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends
• Willing to outstation and travel
