• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline from a recognised institution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of electrical engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation in compliance with industry standards.
• Manage project resources including equipment, materials, and personnel allocation.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations on project sites.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project communication.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support the estimation and tender process for new projects.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at BD Electrical Sdn Bhd in Puncak Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of our electrical engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery from conception through to completion, ensuring that all work meets our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of electrical engineering projects from initiation through completion

What we're looking for

Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline from a recognised institution

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project engineering or site-based engineering roles within the electrical or construction industry

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial installations

Proficiency in project management software and tools, including CAD and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of Dialux software will be an advantage

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
