Job summary

Hextar Mitai Sdn Bhd is a local EPCC company in Malaysia providing mechanical, equipment & piping solutions for oil & gas upstream/downstream, food and chemical processing industries. The role focuses on planning, tracking and expediting project schedules, coordinating resources and ensuring timely VDML submissions and ITP execution.

You will lead cross-functional teams, report on project updates and budgets, and liaise with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural / Civil) or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in engineering project management or project execution.
• Experience in Oil & Gas Project Management or Services.
• PW2/PW4 certification is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
• Chinese language ability is an added advantage.
• Willing to be stationed at / travel to multiple project site locations.
• Positive attitude, enthusiastic, willing to learn, hardworking, result-oriented and self-motivated.

Requirements:

Able to speak and read/write Chinese is an added advantage (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients/suppliers)

Willing to be stationed at / travel to multiple project site locations as required.
